These activities are part of the comprehensive revamping program for the sintering & blast furnace production departments in Nadezhdinski Metallurgical Plant. In addition to replacement of the furnace housing, repair of the air heaters and other components of this installation, the furnace will be fitted with an automated process control system to improve the operating data acquisition and quickly input the required parameters. A similar system was previously installed onto Furnace No. 1 in the blast furnace shop of our metallurgical plant.
